Ball watches are Swiss made, fully automatic, and have a wide range of technical advances and options available. At the same time, Ball Watches sell at a significant price advantage when compared to other Swiss brands of comparable quality.
Ball was originally an American company. In fact, Webster C. Ball was the innovator of the Railroad Standard for American railroads. The railroad crews would have to have their timepieces evaluated by Mr. Ball’s inspectors to determine whether or not that crew was “On the Ball” standard. If not, the crew member had to be replaced for the trip, so it was essential to have a high grade, yet affordable, timepiece.
The Ball Watch brand is very rich in historic lore as well as current innovation which I’ll be happy to share over time.
